Dr Himanshu Bansal is the Medical Director at Center of spinal cord repair & has pioneered the treatment stratedgy with BM cells, sural nerve graft and nasal olfactory tissue with or without omental transposition in spinal cord injuries.

Raised in rudrapur uttarakhand India. Dr.Bansal did his medical schooling Residency and postgraduation from King George medical College in Lucknow U.P.He worked extensively in spinal cord injury unit and study and presented his work on stabilization of Thoraco-lumbar Spine -A Clinico- radiological study at various symposiums.

Dr. Bansal returned to rudrapur in 1997 to begin work at anupam hospital pproviding charitable treatment to poor masses and established first microsurgery unit of state at this peripheral centre to re implant traumatic amputations after pursuing fellowship in microsurgery at Osaka city university Japan.

He also invented new types of cost effective implants to aid in successful fracture surgery outcomes. (e.g.-patented forearm interlocking nail)But because of his interest for Striving excellence in management of sci decided to work exclusively for spinally injured and started a comprehensive sci treatment center at his hometown.
